If I was born during colonial times I would be a brick maker because I love to build and bricks are good for building easy to use because they are one size and shape .Unlike wood,bricks do not rot or burn they are made from clay was plentiful through out the colonies……
brick making was simple. clay, sand,water were mixed in a pit some brick makers added straw or animal hair to make the bricks stronger women,children or slaves some times walked barefoot on the clay to mix it
