What it’s like in 6th grade!
What it’s like in 6th grade! By Kaylon Bennett
What is it like in 6th grade some of you might be wondering? 6th grade is the grade where you finally get more freedom well i’m sure some of you are thanking yay and the others are thinking well everybody else says that it is the worst grade ever. That’s where they are wrong yes 6th grade is hard because you have to remember your class order and your teachers names but that’s the easy part.
One piece of advice that I have for the future 6th graders to always do your best to pass your classes because it determines if you go to the 7th grade or not which I’m sure most of you want to go to the 7th grade.
And another piece of advice is to not get on the teacher’s bad side especially the band directors because they will take your instrument away and if they do that you won’t get to go to splash kingdom at the end of the year and that also depends on if you are passing all of your classes which is hard.
And some more advice for when you get into 6th grade is to not pull pranks on people because I learned the hard way because I super glued someone’s locker shut and I had to clean it off and it was hard.
Malala’s bravery!
Malala made her voice heard by speaking out against to the Taliban for her edication rights. Although the taliban did not like people speaking out aganst them, she continued. But she was cautious because she had heard that she had been charged with a death threat. As she continued to speek out for her rights, The Taliban had enougth. on October 9th,they shot her in the left side of her forehead, hopeing to silence her. But they failed, and shortly after she was shot she was back on her feet and still be be brave because if the taliban finds out that you where defeted they might terrorize other girls and women hopefully one day the taliban will see the importance in women because you wounl not be alive if it wasent for women.

6 Mysterious ‘Dracula’ Ant Species Discovered in Madagascar
By Tia Ghose, Staff Writer | March 31, 2014 10:00am ET
An ant of the enigmatic Mystrium species. These Dracula ants are known for sucking the blood of their young.
Credit: Alex Wild. Adetomyrma is a genus of ants endemic to Madagascar. Workers of this genus are blind.[3] The type species Adetomyrma venatrix was described in 1994, with the genus being an atypical member of its tribe, the Amblyoponini. This tribe includes the dracula ants, members of which feed on the hemolymph of larvae.
The so-called Dracula ants, described today (March 31) in the journal ZooKeys, seem to defy many of the normal rules that scientists use to classify ants.
“The genus Mystrium is the most mysterious group within the bizarre Dracula ants,” study co-author Masashi Yoshimura, a researcher at the California Academy of Sciences, said in a statement. “Mystrium was a difficult group to identify because of the remarkable variation within each species.”
continues to inspire and be brave

Malala continues to inspire!!!
Malala made her voice heard by speaking out against to the taliban for equal rights. Although the taliban did not like people speaking out for people’s rights she kept doing it but she has to be cautious because she has already gotten one death threat for speaking out but still that did not stop her for instance she won the 2014 nobel peace when she was 17 years old I think that shows courage and inspiration And 3 years later she still continues to inspire and speak out against the taliban and encourages people to be brave and never give up!Malala holding the 2014 nobel peace prize
Can she make a change? Can she make a difference?

Why is education so important to Malala? Malala’s parents named her after someone who spoke out against terrorism and was killed. Some reasons why education is so important to Malala are that, She believes she can make a difference in Pakistan and in Swat. “Maybe we can be the great ones tomorrow” notably “in a country where so many people consider it a waste to send girls to school”. A teacher is someone who helps you believe in and pursue your dreams. This is why education is so important not just to Malala, but to her dad and the other boys and girls in Pakistan.
Malala stated, “When the whole world is SILENT one voice becomes POWERFUl.” -Malala Yousafzai
Here are some of the fameous quotes that Malala said.”They tryed to bury us but they didn’t know we were seeds.”-Malala Yousafzai
”
“With Guns you can kill terrorists, with education you can kill terrorism.”-Malala Yousafzai
“We relize the importance of our voice when we are silenced.”-Malala Yousafzai
“One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world.”
That’s just a few of the inspiring quotes from Malala Yousafzai.Oh by the way the left side of her face is paralyzed but that did not stop her from makeing a Difference!
Technologys simalarites and diffrences
Here are some simalarites between communicating with teach nology and communicating in person through teachnology you can still communicate and carry on a conversation and in person you can do the same thing but not face to face its face to screen but in person its teachnaly the same thing but they could be far away.
Here are some diffrences about communicating with technology and communicating in person communicating with technology it costs little or no money but communicating in person lets say that you are trying to talk to someone and they live in Alaska it could cost a lot of money to talk to them in person but through teachnology you have to worry about them breaking up on the middle of you’re conversation and in person you don’t have to worry about that

Reflection of ‘Out of My Mind’
Be yourself
When I think about being yourself I think about doing what you want to do and what you want to wear to school and be friends who you want to be friends with do what you want to do don’t let people mess with you or bully you just because you’re being different it’s not a bad thing
The question you should ask yourself is if they don’t accept who you are then why do you want to be like them! Why do you want to be friends with them do you agree with me?
